Core Responsibilities Instructional Excellence: Planning and delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across KS3 & KS4 , covering a broad range of material areas (Timbers, Polymers, Metals, or Textiles). Technical Mastery: Introducing students to modern manufacturing techniques, including CAD/CAM , 3D printing, and laser cutting, alongside traditional hand-tool skills. Curriculum Innovation: Developing project-based learning units that solve real-world problems, from sustainable product design to mechanical systems. Health & Safety Leadership: Maintaining a safe and rigorous workshop environment, ensuring all machinery is used correctly and Risk Assessments are strictly followed. Exam Preparation: Guiding students through the GCSE Design & Technology (AQA/Eduqas) and/or Level 2 Technical Awards , with a focus on high-quality Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) portfolios.
