About the Role Company: Aqilea India Role: Java Backend Developer Exp Range : 5 to 10 years Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems by translating business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role demands strong expertise in modern Java-based technologies, reactive programming, and performance optimization, along with awareness of emerging AI tools and LLMs. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Implement reactive programming paradigms for high-performance and responsive applications Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of applications Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA Stay updated with latest technologies, including AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and Large Language Models (LLMs) Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (WebFlux/Reactor) Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs Experience in performance tuning and system optimization Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot) Basic understanding of LLMs and their practical applications in development Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Start: Immediate to 15 Days Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
