As a Chemistry Teacher in this high-performing setting, you will be working with some of the most gifted young minds in the country. The £8,000 TLR is attached to an Academic Responsibility role, which could include: Leading the Chemistry Curriculum Development for KS5. Acting as a Lead Mentor for STEM-focused university admissions and Olympiad entries. Spearheading Interdisciplinary Research Projects across the Science faculty. Leadership (TLR Role): Drive departmental standards, oversee internal assessments, and mentor junior staff or ECTs within the faculty. Enrichment: Lead high-level extracurricular clubs, such as the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Olympiad or the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge . Practical Mastery: Ensure the highest standards of laboratory safety while delivering complex, undergraduate-level practical demonstrations. Candidate Profile Qualifications: A first-class or 2:1 degree in Chemistry (or a closely related field) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . Experience: A proven track record of delivering "Outstanding" results at A-Level. Previous experience in a leadership or coordination role is highly desirable.
