We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Boxborough, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC machines, as well as a strong understanding of machining principles and techniques. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time delivery Follow established procedures and communicate effectively with management to meet quality standards Track and report work order progress, including quantities produced Operate a variety of equipment across multiple stages of the production process Cross-train in machining and assembly functions within the department Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality Perform additional duties as assigned Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure timely completion of projects Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines, including knowledge of G-code and other programming languages Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Experience with precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good communication and interpersonal skills.
