Maintenance Supervisor / Manager – Manufacturing | Hands-On Leadership | Multi-Trade Required We are hiring a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, reduces downtime, and supports production with effective leadership and hands-on troubleshooting. Ideal candidates are experienced lead technicians ready to step into supervision or seasoned maintenance leaders who thrive on the floor. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–12 maintenance technicians Plan, prioritize, and execute daily maintenance and repair work Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance programs are completed Troubleshoot mechanical systems (motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors) to minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and CMMS documentation Partner with production leadership to meet daily output and operational goals Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability Support facility maintenance, parts inventory, and vendor coordination Enforce safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience 2+ years supervising or leading maintenance technicians Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills across motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and multi-trade systems Experience in manufacturing/production environments Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance programs Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Multi-trade skills: electrical, HVAC, compressors, welding, valves Hands-on leadership in small-to-medium manufacturing or food plants (10–150 employees) Proven track record of reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability Why Join Us: This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role where your technical expertise and team management skills directly impact production success.
