About the position
Role Overview Structural Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to design infrastructure and building systems. The role supports projects ranging from small-scale developments to large, complex facilities, including structural design for buildings and water/wastewater systems. Key Responsibilities Design structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated design solutions Support water and wastewater projects with structural expertise Prepare construction documents (plans, sections, details, schedules, specifications, estimates) Develop 2D/3D models and BIM-based designs Ensure compliance with design codes and industry standards Manage project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus); Master's preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license with relevant experience Experience in structural design within a consulting environment Additional state registrations preferred Technical Skills Structural design using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and aluminum Knowledge of material design codes and industry standards Experience with BIM and CADD standards Proficiency in Revit, structural analysis software (e.g., RAM, STAAD), and drafting tools Familiarity with tools such as BricsCAD and MicroStation is a plus Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Core Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Effective team collaboration and coordinationPlace of work
