The Role As a Biology Teacher, you will be a key part of a well-resourced Science faculty. You will deliver high-quality, practical-led lessons across KS3 and KS4 , with the opportunity to teach A-Level Biology for a candidate with strong subject specialism and a passion for post-16 education. Key Responsibilities: Practical Excellence: Designing and supervising safe, engaging lab experiments—from dissections to microscopy and biochemical testing. Curriculum Delivery: Teaching core biological concepts including cell biology, bioenergetics, inheritance, and the human circulatory system. STEM Integration: Collaborating with the wider Science team to promote cross-curricular links and careers in medicine, research, and conservation. About You We are looking for a scientist who is as comfortable in the field as they are in the laboratory. The Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Biology or a related Biological Science. Has a proven track record of delivering "Good" or "Outstanding" lessons at GCSE level. Possesses excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to the highest standards of Health & Safety.
