Accounting Operations Assistant (Construction & Property Services) Location: Remote (LATAM) Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays may be required) Salary: $2,000–$3,000 USD/month About Our Client Our client is a Houston-based construction and property maintenance company with over a decade of experience delivering turnkey solutions across the United States. They specialize in ground-up construction, renovations, property maintenance, and customized facility solutions for a diverse client base that includes national brands, REITs, and educational institutions. Position Overview They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Assistant with strong experience in QuickBooks Online to support our day-to-day operations. This role is critical to ensuring smooth financial and administrative processes across multiple ongoing projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with U.S.-based companies—preferably in construction or property services—and is comfortable managing a wide range of accounting and administration-related responsibilities remotely. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Support (QuickBooks Online) Manage all QuickBooks Online activities, including: Invoicing and billing Accounts payable and receivable Expense tracking and categorization Bank and credit card reconciliations Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and cost tracking Support payroll processing and contractor payments (as needed) Project & Operations Support Assist with project tracking, timelines, and documentation Support compliance-related documentation (e.g., contracts, insurance, permits) Help coordinate maintenance schedules and service requests Ensure accurate record-keeping across multiple active projects Administrative Support Manage daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency across departments Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications Maintain organized digital filing systems and project documentation Assist with vendor communication and subcontractor coordination Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, or similar role Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required) Experience supporting U.S.-based companies (construction industry experience is a strong plus) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent organizational and multitasking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience in construction, property management, or facility services Familiarity with project management tools or CRMs Knowledge of U.S. compliance and documentation processes (e.g., W-9s, COIs, permits) What We Offer Competitive salary in USD Long-term, stable remote opportunity Exposure to large-scale, multi-sector construction projects across the U.S. A collaborative and fast-growing team environment
