OVERVIEW This is the role that turns the founders creative energy into a brand that grows. The Company is a creative-led business built around a founder whose face, voice, and creative identity are the product. We operate three brands — a personal brand, an affordable wigs label, and a creator support platform — and were still scaling. The Brand Manager for the personal brand owns the anchor of the entire business — the brand that drives audience, influence, and commercial partnerships across everything else. ROLE IN PLAIN TERMS Youre the pod lead for the founders personal brand. You decide what gets made and why — content strategy, partnership deals, community engagement, and to an extent revenue. This isnt a content coordinator role. You'll be managing the brands pages, sourcing and closing brand partnerships, building a commercial pipeline, managing a pod, and presenting brand performance to the founder. If the brand stalls, thats on you. If it grows, thats also on you. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Brand Strategy & Growth Own the brand strategy — audience positioning, content pillars, growth priorities, and commercial objectives Develop and maintain a rolling content and growth strategy that reflects the founders creative vision and audience interests Track brand health metrics — audience growth, engagement, content performance, partnership revenue, and sentiment Present brand performance and strategic recommendations to the Founder and Creative Director monthly Partnerships & Revenue Source, pitch, and secure brand partnerships that amplify the founders creative expression and align with the brand positioning Build and maintain a pipeline of partnership opportunities — proactively, not just responding to inbound Content Pipeline Own the end-to-end content pipeline — from ideation through production, approval, publishing, and performance tracking Maintain a content calendar that accounts for brand moments, partnership deliverables, platform cadence, and founder availability Brief the Content Creator with clear, actionable briefs that include objectives, strategic context, format, tone, and deadlines Ensure content moves through the approval pipeline without stalling Community & Audience Own community management across all active platforms — develop and maintain the brands community voice Monitor audience sentiment and flag emerging conversations, risks, or opportunities Build an engaged community that drives organic reach, brand loyalty, and commercial opportunity WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE 4–6 years in brand management, content strategy, or partnerships —ideally in a creator economy, media, beauty/lifestyle. Experience working in or around personal brands, creator businesses, or founder-led companies SKILLS Competence managing brand partnerships end-to-end: sourcing, pitching, negotiating, executing, and reporting. Strong content strategy instincts and commercial awareness — you track pipeline, and ROI without needing to be asked PERSON Entrepreneurial — you treat this brand like its yours. Commercially minded without losing the creative thread. Comfortable with productive tension alongside a Creative Director who holds the creative standard Other Details Comfortable with tools: Asana, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, social media management platforms A clear communicator — you brief well, report concisely, and push back with data when you need to Discreet — brand strategy, partnership terms, revenue data, and business direction stay with you Proactive to the point of being slightly relentless — you build pipelines, follow up, and close Direct — you give clear information and don't pad your communication with noise Invested in building something — you're not looking for a job where you manage from a distance WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR Someone who thinks brand management is just content scheduling. This role owns strategy, partnerships, and revenue — not just a calendar. Someone who waits for partnerships to come inbound. You'll need to build and manage a pipeline, pitch, negotiate, and close. Someone who cant work within a creative review process. Your content goes through the Creative Director for creative quality approval — if that feels like a bottleneck rather than a quality gate, this isnt the right fit. Someone who needs the founder to make every decision. The whole point of this role is that the brand runs because you run it. WORK ARRANGEMENT Location: Lagos, Nigeria (on-site, with flexibility for remote work as agreed) Type: Full-Time Reports to: Creative Director / Founder Travel: Occasional domestic travel for brand shoots, events, and campaigns.
