Regional Sales Manager

About the position

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Location: Cape Town A well-established and growing business within the wholesale and distribution sector is seeking a driven and commercially focused Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented leader who can drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships across a diverse client base. THE ROLE You will take ownership of regional sales performance, leading a team to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets while strengthening key customer relationships. Key responsibilities include: Driving achievement of sales and gross profit targets across the region Growing revenue through existing accounts and new business development Increasing sales of new and existing product lines Managing and optimising sales team performance and call cycles Implementing and maintaining structured sales processes and standards Monitoring customer segmentation and prioritisation strategies Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships Resolving customer queries, complaints, and service issues effectively Overseeing stock, delivery expectations, and service levels Managing sales budgets, headcount, and cost efficiency Leading team development, performance management, and coaching Driving training initiatives and improving product knowledge across the team Ensuring effective use of sales tools, systems, and reporting platforms WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a commercially astute sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results and managing high-performing teams.
