Note: To be considered, you must be a Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or a PMHNP with pediatric experience and the ability to treat children. FNP licensure alone does not qualify for this role. Job Description Provide psychiatric services for children and adolescents in an outpatient behavioral health setting Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications based on diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment response Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall patient progress Perform mental status examinations and clinical assessments Educate patients, families, and staff on medications, treatment plans, and psychiatric care Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, families, schools, and other providers Provide consultation to staff regarding medication and treatment-related issues Complete clinical documentation, reports, evaluations, and required forms Review and sign treatment plans and other clinical documentation as needed Participate in on-call rotation for additional compensation Attend medical staff meetings, quality improvement activities, and other assigned duties Qualifications PMHNP with pediatric population experience required 2+ years of directly relevant experience treating pediatric psychiatric patients required Must be able to see children; education across the lifespan is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and child/adolescent development Experience with psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management Knowledge of confidentiality requirements, abuse reporting, client rights, and ethical practice standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Permanent U.S. work authorization required Why You Will Love Working Here You will be part of a mission-driven team that believes behavioral health care can transform lives and strengthen communities.
