About the position

Position: Small Bus Driver (No CDL Required) Position Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 12-Passenger Bus Driver to join our team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting our ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a bus to transport ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit - Ensure the safety of all passengers by following all traffic laws and driving defensively - Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus at all times - Assist students with getting on and off the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being - Keep accurate records of daily routes, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with the Islamic Center of Detroit staff regarding any changes or delays in the schedule - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role - Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Join Our Team: If you are a responsible and experienced Bus Driver looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position at the Islamic Center of Detroit.
