Key Responsibilities: As an ICU RN , you will: Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including monitoring and managing complex medical conditions. Perform accurate patient assessments and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with hospital standards. Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team—including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Follow hospital policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff. Respond to emergency situations with professionalism, critical thinking, and timely intervention. Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications (must be obtained within 6 months of hire). Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of ICU experience preferred. 1+ year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting. Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.Place of work
