Security Analyst (IAM), hybrid in Prague

About the position

We are looking for a Security Analyst (IAM) to support the design, implementation, and governance of IAM and security controls across virtualized infrastructure and related management platforms. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with OpenShift, Veeam, and enterprise IAM integrations, and is able to improve access security, compliance, and operational standards across complex environments. Start Date: ASAP Location: 2 days in office, Prague Language: English, Czech Contract Type: B2B contract Responsibilities: Assess, design, and implement IAM policies, controls, and frameworks for virtual infrastructure and supporting management tools such as OpenShift, Veeam, and Chef Improve authentication, authorization, and access provisioning processes across virtualized environments Conduct regular security posture reviews and risk assessments of virtualization systems Integrate IAM with enterprise security solutions such as Active Directory, MFA, SSO, and PAM Ensure backup and disaster recovery platforms follow secure access practices and compliance standards Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to align IAM strategy with enterprise security architecture Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities related to identity, access, and privilege escalation risks Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, security guidelines, and incident response playbooks for virtualized environments Stay up to date with industry best practices, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to IAM and virtualization Requirements: Proven hands-on experience with OpenShift, Veeam Backup & Replication, and related virtualization platforms Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, RBAC, MFA, SSO, and PAM Experience integrating virtualization platforms with enterprise IAM and directory services Familiarity with compliance and security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks Solid understanding of network security, virtualization security, and backup/data protection security Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills Nice to have: Certifications such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator, Veeam Certified Engineer, CISSP, CISM, or similar Experience with cloud-based virtualization environments such as VMware Cloud, Azure, or AWS Scripting or automation skills in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar Knowledge of Zero Trust principles applied to virtualization and backup platforms
