Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care / Hospital Setting Hudson, Florida Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Jan 27, 2026 – Apr 28, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,626.96 Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an opportunity at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital , a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL. This position involves working in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing physical therapy services to patients with a wide range of conditions including post-surgical, orthopedic, and acute care cases. Facility Information Facility: HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital Location: Hudson, Florida Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center Bed Capacity: 309 Beds Work Setting: Inpatient / Acute Care Clinical Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (POC) Provide therapy for patients with: Post-surgical conditions Orthopedic injuries Acute medical conditions Deliver interventions including: Mobility training Therapeutic exercises Functional rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and modify care plans Educate patients and families on recovery and home programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation Clinical Highlights Work in a Level II Trauma Center Exposure to diverse acute care patient population Collaborative interdisciplinary environment Opportunity to strengthen hospital-based clinical skills Required Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapist License BLS Certification Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Scheduling & Assignment Details Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts Hours: 40 hours/week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Rotation with staff Facility Policies & Notes Parking available (excluding ER-designated spaces) Must adhere to hospital scheduling and attendance policies Travelers are expected to integrate into staff rotation for weekends and holidays Compliance Requirements Active FL license required at submission BLS certification required Completion of onboarding and facility compliance Why Consider This Assignment Experience in a high-acuity trauma center Consistent 40-hour schedule Strong hospital exposure Ideal for PTs looking to grow in acute careAbout the company
