Senior Sales Engineer, APJ (up to $9,000 base | 130k OTE)

About the position
Compensation Monthly base salary: SGD 8,000 to SGD 9,000 On-target earnings (OTE): up to SGD 130,000 per annum Responsibilities Act as the technical pre-sales lead across the APJ region, supporting business development efforts through solution advisory, technical discovery, product demonstrations, proof of concept activities, and customer workshops. Partner closely with sales, channel partners, and customers to understand business and technical requirements, and propose suitable solutions that align with customer needs. Design scalable and practical solution architectures, including integration into existing enterprise IT environments and support for migration or deployment planning where required. Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including solution positioning, technical validation, competitive differentiation, and responses to RFPs and RFIs. Support customer evaluations and implementation planning by advising on infrastructure readiness, solution fit, deployment considerations, and feasibility assessment. Work closely with internal stakeholders such as product, engineering, and support teams to relay customer requirements, technical feedback, and market insights. Support partner enablement through technical training, workshops, and best practice sharing, while representing the business in customer and partner discussions across the APJ region. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical consulting within SaaS, enterprise software, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, messaging, collaboration tools, or related technology environments . Strong technical understanding of enterprise software or infrastructure solutions , with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical recommendations. Experience in areas such as messaging, security, virtualization, cloud, on-prem environments, systems integration, or enterprise platform deployment will be advantageous. Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and regional markets. Candidates should be organized, responsive, able to close the loop effectively, and comfortable working in a regional role with travel requirements.
