Job Description: We are currently seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team as a Truck Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the truck driver in the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the truck driver in the loading and unloading of goods onto the truck - Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any issues to the driver - Help navigate the truck driver to various locations using GPS or maps - Ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods to their designated destinations - Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times - Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road - Communicate effectively with the truck driver and other team members - Assist with any other duties as assigned by the truck driver or supervisor. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - Previous experience in a similar role is an asset - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Good communication and teamwork skills - Familiarity with GPS and maps - Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed - A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
