Social Media Officer - iGaming

About the position

Our client, an international group within the online entertainment and iGaming sector, is expanding its marketing operations in Cyprus and is seeking a performance-driven Social Media Officer to support growth across key digital communities. Responsibilities: Own and manage daily content operations for X (Twitter) and Telegram, including both public channels and private groups. Develop and execute structured weekly and monthly content calendars across Sports Betting and Casino verticals. Create engaging, high-performing content formats , including: Threads, Match-day updates, Odds highlights, Polls and interactive posts, Memes, Short-form video clips, Promotional and campaign-driven content Oversee Telegram community management , including pinned posts, onboarding/welcome flows, moderation guidelines, and anti-scam communication. Implement growth strategies , such as cross-promotions, community swaps, shoutouts, micro-influencer collaborations, and partner coordination. Collaborate cross-functionally with VIP, CRM, and Support teams to ensure seamless routing of leads, inquiries, and campaign alignment. Track and analyze performance metrics , including reach, engagement, joins, clicks, and registrations; continuously optimize strategy based on data insights. Maintain brand consistency , ensuring all communications align with internal tone of voice and compliance standards. Requirements: Strong practical knowledge of Telegram growth mechanics and X engagement strategies. 2–4 years of experience in social media management or community growth within the iGaming industry (mandatory) Comfortable producing content across both Sports Betting and Casino verticals within fast-paced, high-frequency cycles. Excellent English copywriting skills; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage. Basic design and/or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools or similar) are a plus. Highly organized, KPI-driven, and able to work effectively with multiple internal stakeholders. Ability to operate in a structured yet dynamic environment with growth targets.
