Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Mine General Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the operations of our mine, including general labor, maintenance, and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general labor duties, such as shoveling, digging, and carrying materials. - Assist with maintenance tasks, including repairing and maintaining equipment. - Operate various equipment, such as forklifts and loaders, to move materials and supplies. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. - Adhere to company policies and procedures. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a mining or construction environment is preferred. - Ability to operate various equipment, such as forklifts and loaders. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Valid driver's license is preferred.
