Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality. Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers to improve their quality processes and product conformity. Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including inspection plans and test reports. Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality performance. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Proven experience in supplier quality management, including supplier audits, qualification, and performance monitoring. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant manufacturing processes. Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management. Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and control plans.
