Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and accounts payable. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and collection. Participate in inventory valuation and cost accounting activities, analyzing variances and providing insights. Aid in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and support operational decisions. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with cost accounting principles and variance analysis specific to manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). - Knowledge of inventory valuation methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted-average) and their impact on manufacturing costs. - Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance in a manufacturing setting.
