The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Staff Accountants. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card statements. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Support the inventory accounting function, including cycle counts and variance analysis. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise). Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Experience with inventory valuation and reconciliation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
