Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and production targets are met. Manage and mentor production staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics. Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Collaborate with engineering and management to optimize production processes and introduce new products. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing shop management role. Strong understanding of production processes and lean manufacturing principles. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain operations. Experience with quality control procedures and safety regulations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
