Key Responsibilities Analyze customer Requests for Quote (RFQs), blueprints, and technical specifications. Calculate accurate costs for materials, labor, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Generate comprehensive and competitive pricing proposals for custom manufactured products. Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure quote accuracy and feasibility. Utilize ERP/CRM systems to process quotes, track status, and manage customer data. Communicate effectively with customers and sales representatives regarding quote details and clarifications. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the quoting function. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in cost estimation and pricing strategies within a manufacturing environment. Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and material specifications. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal team interaction.
