Key Responsibilities Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, including hourly and salaried. Administer and maintain timekeeping systems, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, overtime, and shift differentials. Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and company policies. Calculate and process various payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments. Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Generate and distribute payroll reports for management and accounting purposes. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and time off. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Recommended Qualifications 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos) and integrated HRIS/payroll platforms. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, including FLSA regulations. Proven experience processing high-volume, multi-state payroll for hourly employees with varying pay rates and shift differentials. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, calculations, and reconciliation.
