Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing processes. Design and configure Human Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA systems. Troubleshoot and debug complex control system issues, including PLC, HMI, and VFDs. Integrate PLC systems with other plant-wide control systems and databases. Perform modifications and optimizations to existing PLC programs to improve efficiency and reliability. Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC code, control logic, and electrical schematics. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams on control systems. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) across major platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens). Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and integration. Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus). Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and commission industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and other engineering documentation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and development. Proficiency in industrial robotics programming (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots). Knowledge of industrial networking protocols and architecture (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP). Experience integrating PLCs with databases (e.g., SQL) or MES/ERP systems. Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
