Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing and administrative employees. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and shift differentials. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and reporting requirements. Manage and process all payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions. Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and prepare related financial reports. Administer and troubleshoot the timekeeping system to ensure accurate data for payroll processing. Process new hires, terminations, and employee data changes in the payroll system. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience processing full-cycle payroll for a high volume of employees, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency with major payroll software platforms (e.g., ADP, UKG, Workday) and integrated timekeeping systems. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, calculations, and reconciliation. Experience with complex pay structures common in manufacturing, including shift differentials, overtime, and incentive programs. Bonus Qualifications Experience processing payroll for a unionized workforce or with collective bargaining agreements. Familiarity with time and attendance systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now Time). Understanding of shift differentials, production bonuses, or piece-rate pay structures. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
