The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking NPI Engineers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the successful transition of new products from design to manufacturing. Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI). Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback to R&D. Specify, procure, and qualify new equipment, tooling, and fixtures for NPI lines. Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows. Drive yield and quality improvement initiatives during NPI pilot runs and ramp-up. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure NPI readiness. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing). 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering in a production environment. Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. Demonstrated experience with process development, tooling, and equipment validation. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the industry (e.g., electronics assembly, machining, injection molding). Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM/PDM systems.
