Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T) – Outpatient Cancer Center | Las Cruces, NM

About the position

Our client is seeking a Radiation Therapist to support an outpatient cancer center, delivering safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. The role is patient‑facing, technical, and essential to daily clinical operations. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | Relocation Assistance: Limited Requirements: Educate patients on procedures, equipment, expectations, and safety. Position patients for treatment and operate radiation therapy equipment. Perform daily equipment checks, safety procedures, and quality control tasks. Monitor patient condition throughout treatment and respond appropriately to changes. Report equipment issues and collaborate with clinical/technical staff to resolve them. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and departmental radiation safety standards. Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to the physician's prescription and established clinical protocols. Review patient history, verify treatment parameters, and ensure accurate documentation. Qualifications/Must-Haves: BLS certification. Willingness to relocate to Las Cruces, NM. Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent. ARRT registry or registry‑eligible in Radiation Therapy (T) Current New Mexico Radiation Therapy license (or ability to obtain before start) Preferred Skills: 1–2 years of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting. Experience with oncology information systems, linear accelerators, and CT simulation.
