Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to achieve production targets. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication machinery and equipment. Train and mentor team members on new techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Recommended Qualifications Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in various fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming). Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of quality control standards, material properties, and safety procedures. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize fabrication workflows. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CAD/CAM software for design review and programming. Certifications in advanced welding techniques or inspection (e.g., CWI, NDT). Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Background in tool and die making or precision machining.
