They write for niche trade industries such as travel, tourism, energy, agriculture, and freight. The Role: Journalist – Travel & Tourism (B2B) The purpose of this role is to join the editorial team of Travel News and Tourism Update to serve travel professionals with business-to-business journalism. The role focuses on delivering news that readers rely on for accuracy and operational relevance while requiring the journalist to become an industry expert. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate journalism experience with published work. Produce daily trade-focused news articles. Conduct interviews with operators and tourism boards. Analyse policy and regulatory developments. Attend industry events and press briefings. Deliver work within agreed deadlines. Adopt a business-to-business mindset rather than a business-to-consumer approach. About You Demonstrated journalism experience with published work. Strong writing and analytical skills. Valid driver's licence and own vehicle. Strong news acumen and global awareness. Ability to write compelling lead stories and a desire to be first with industry news. Deadline-driven and organised. Professional confidence in interviews and industry engagement. Driven and commercially aware.
