Key Responsibilities Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs) to verify conformance. Document inspection results accurately and completely, maintaining detailed quality records. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with production teams and quality engineers to resolve issues and improve processes. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
