Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for IT hardware, software, and network issues for office and shop floor personnel. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to manufacturing execution systems (MES) and human-machine interfaces (HMI). Support and maintain shop floor IT equipment, including industrial PCs, barcode scanners, and label printers. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various business and manufacturing applications. Document all support requests, resolutions, and procedures within the help desk ticketing system. Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new IT equipment and software. Escalate complex technical issues to higher-tier support or specialized IT teams when necessary. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience providing technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in a professional environment. Familiarity with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or MES systems common in manufacturing operations. Experience supporting specialized industrial hardware such as barcode scanners, label printers, and shop floor PCs. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and user support.
