Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and building infrastructure. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) within the facility. Develop and manage the facilities operating budget, including forecasting, cost control, and capital expenditure planning. Plan and execute facility improvement projects, layout modifications, and new equipment installations to support production needs. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for critical production assets and building systems. Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers for facility-related projects and services. Optimize utility consumption and manage waste disposal programs to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural) and preventative maintenance strategies. Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental compliance relevant to manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, lead maintenance teams, and oversee capital improvement projects. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and asset tracking. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM software for facility layout and planning. Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
