The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Spring Lake seeking Facilities Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative and reactive repairs for production equipment and building infrastructure. Manage facility budgets, including operating expenses and capital expenditure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental (HSE) regulations and industry standards relevant to manufacturing operations. Develop and implement strategic facility plans to support manufacturing growth, efficiency, and future expansion needs. Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance, repairs, and facility projects. Manage utility systems (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air) to optimize performance and minimize energy consumption in a manufacturing environment. Lead and develop the facilities team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Recommended Qualifications Deep technical expertise in industrial maintenance, building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and utilities. Proven leadership and management experience, including overseeing maintenance teams and external contractors. Strong understanding and application of safety regulations (OSHA, environmental) and building codes in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated project management skills for facility upgrades, equipment installations, and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
