Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods using statistical models and market intelligence. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather demand inputs and align forecasts. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and new product introductions to identify demand drivers and risks. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate the demand review process as a key part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle. Identify and communicate significant demand changes or potential supply constraints to relevant stakeholders. Manage and optimize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting capabilities. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in demand planning or a similar supply chain role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software (e.g., APO, Kinaxis, IBP). Strong analytical and statistical skills, with experience in various forecasting methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Bonus Qualifications APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) or machine learning for demand forecasting. Experience developing and maintaining dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for demand performance visualization. In-depth knowledge of specific advanced planning modules within major ERP systems (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra).
