Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and raw materials. Lead or actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts. Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, identifying variances and implementing improvements. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production to achieve a consensus demand plan. Optimize inventory levels by providing accurate demand signals to supply chain. Integrate new product introductions and discontinuations into the demand forecast. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software; strong Excel skills. Demonstrated understanding of statistical forecasting methodologies and their application. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Anaplan. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP). Basic programming skills in R or Python for statistical analysis.
