Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product lines using statistical methods and market intelligence. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to gather insights and align on demand plan assumptions. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify demand drivers and refine forecasting models. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes for variances and implementing corrective actions. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting demand plans and highlighting risks or opportunities. Manage and optimize demand planning parameters within the ERP or forecasting system. Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing initial forecasts and tracking launch performance. Recommended Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop accurate forecasts. Demonstrated understanding of forecasting methodologies and S&OP/IBP processes. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse, JDA/Blue Yonder). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or statistical software (e.g., R, Python). Exposure to or participation in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
