Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the finishing department, ensuring production targets are met. Manage, train, and mentor a team of finishing technicians and operators. Ensure all finished products adhere to established quality standards and specifications. Optimize workflow and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area. Track and report on key production metrics, including output, quality, and scrap rates. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, including supervisory responsibilities. Proficiency in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly) and related equipment. Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet output and quality targets. Strong understanding and application of quality control principles and inspection methods for finished products. Demonstrated problem-solving skills for production issues, quality defects, and process optimization. Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
