Key Responsibilities Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues with machinery using schematics and diagnostic tools. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and calibrations to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Travel extensively to various customer locations, often on short notice, to provide timely service. Recommended Qualifications Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair skills. 2+ years of experience in field service or maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) and hand/power tools. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on problem resolution. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Willingness and ability to travel extensively to customer sites. Bonus Qualifications Exposure to PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) or HMI/SCADA systems. Experience with advanced diagnostic tools such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, or laser alignment equipment. Proficiency in a second language relevant to international clients or diverse workforces. Prior experience training customers or junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
