Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test embedded firmware and software for manufacturing automation and control systems. Integrate embedded systems with industrial hardware, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols. Diagnose and resolve complex embedded system issues on the production floor, minimizing operational downtime. Optimize real-time embedded system performance for efficiency, reliability, and scalability in manufacturing processes. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for embedded system designs, code, and test procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, electrical, production) to define requirements and implement solutions. Ensure embedded systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements for manufacturing environments. Recommended Qualifications Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded firmware development. Extensive experience with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and their peripherals. Demonstrated ability to work with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet/IP). Experience developing and debugging applications on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). Proficiency in using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and interpreting schematics for hardware/software debugging.
