Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for all employees. Lead incident investigations for accidents, near misses, and environmental excursions, recommending corrective actions. Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper disposal and documentation. Develop and implement site-specific EHS programs, policies, and procedures. Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 3+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, developing safety programs, and leading incident investigations. Proficiency in delivering EHS training, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining EHS management systems. Bonus Qualifications Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM). Experience utilizing EHS management software platforms. Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodology experience. Experience conducting internal or external EHS audits. Prior involvement with an Emergency Response Team (ERT).
