Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution. Implement and maintain electrical safety standards, procedures, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols. Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for electrical infrastructure and production assets. Specify, procure, and commission new electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control devices. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize electrical system performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and industry best practices. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial control systems (SCADA, HMI). Demonstrated experience with power distribution, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical and automation issues in a production environment. Knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and their application in manufacturing. Experience leading electrical engineering projects, from design to commissioning, within a manufacturing setting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet). Knowledge of machine vision systems for quality control or automation. Experience with industrial robotics programming or integration.
