Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Load and unload workpieces and electrodes, ensuring proper fixturing and alignment. Adjust machine parameters such as current, voltage, and pulse settings to optimize machining processes. Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges). Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or machine faults to maintain production. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the EDM machine and work area. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gauges) for quality inspection. Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting common operational issues. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with other precision machining processes (e.g., CNC milling, turning). Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and GD&T. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for model viewing or program verification. Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
