Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and raw materials. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams. Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant deviations, implementing corrective actions. Manage statistical forecasting models and utilize demand planning software effectively. Contribute to inventory optimization by providing reliable demand signals to production and procurement. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field. 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software. Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated understanding of forecasting methodologies and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience leading or significantly contributing to S&OP process improvement initiatives. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for advanced forecasting models.
