Specialty Medical Director Full-Time Palm Beach County, Florida About the Opportunity A leading specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in South Florida is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and help guide the continued growth of its multidisciplinary specialty team. This role is ideal for a board-certified specialist or experienced emergency veterinarian interested in combining clinical work with hospital leadership. The Medical Director will play a key role in mentoring veterinary teams, maintaining high medical standards, and supporting the hospitals long-term development. About the Hospital This well-established specialty and emergency hospital provides advanced referral care supported by a collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. Specialty services include: Critical Care Internal Medicine Surgery Oncology Dermatology The hospital offers advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including: I-131 therapy ward Diagnostic ultrasound Advanced endoscopy and fluoroscopy High-definition laparoscopy Male and female cystoscopy Interventional radiology Laser surgical technology The hospital maintains a strong culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging input from specialists to support the adoption of new technologies and treatment approaches. The Role The Medical Director will: Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the hospital Mentor specialists, emergency clinicians, and medical teams Collaborate closely with hospital leadership and practice management Help maintain high medical standards and patient outcomes Support team development and hospital growth initiatives Leadership training and mentorship resources are available to support continued development in medical leadership and hospital management.
