Associate Veterinarian – General Practice Full-Time Mesquite / Dallas Area, TX About the Opportunity A well-established small animal hospital in the Mesquite / Dallas area is seeking an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing both primary care and urgent care medicine . This role offers a great balance of scheduled wellness appointments and walk-in urgent cases , providing variety in the day while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment. In this position, youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets, clients, and colleagues while practicing high-quality veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing both preventative care and urgent care cases, has strong diagnostic and medical skills, and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. Experience & Skills Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ( DVM / VMD ) or equivalent degree required Two or more years of clinical experience preferred Eligible for or currently holding a Texas veterinary license in good standing prior to start date DEA license or eligibility to obtain one About the Hospital This modern small animal hospital provides a hybrid model of general practice and urgent care services for dogs and cats in the surrounding community.
