Senior Network Administrator

About the position

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Network Administrator with strong hands-on experience in L2/L3 datacenter networking, Cisco infrastructure, and network security . The role focuses on maintaining a secure, high-availability network environment, supporting critical operations, and contributing to compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain L2/L3 datacenter networks Administer Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls Monitor network performance, availability, and security Manage firewall policies, ACLs, VPNs, and IPS Support PCI-DSS compliance and security best practices Troubleshoot complex network issues and participate in L3 on-call support Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures Use Jira and Confluence for activity planning and documentation Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in network administration Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking and Cisco security solutions Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, and Firewall Management Center Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime Infrastructure, and Catalyst Center Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs , and network security principles Experience with PCI-DSS and enterprise network security practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications CCNP, CCNA Security , or similar Cisco certifications Experience with monitoring tools such as Catalyst Center, Zabbix, Nagios, or PRTG Familiarity with Linux administration Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, or Terraform Exposure to WAF, IPAM, SD-WAN, and cloud networking Seniority Senior
