Backend Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Services [LATAM only] Our client, a Silicon Valley-based AI-focused startup is looking for a Backend Engineer focused on building scalable solutions on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firebase, Firestore, App Engine, Vertex AI). Hands-on experience and a willingness to learn are required. Key Responsibilities: Build AI pipelines for multimodal clinical data Develop scalable, secure external APIs Design core AI platform architecture Process images, video, and AI reports at scale Drive key technical decisions What We’re Looking For Strong proficiency in Python Scalable API development (FastAPI) Google Cloud AI stack (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Firebase, Firestore) Backend security (auth & access control) Testing and CI/CD (GitHub Actions) JavaScript / TypeScript Work Environment A role with real ownership from day one Competitive salary in USD + bonuses, under a contractor agreement Remote and flexible work Travel opportunities and direct connection with Silicon Valley The chance to build technology that matters, improving professionals’ lives and animal care worldwide
