Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical malfunctions in production machinery. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for equipment repair. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Identify and requisition necessary parts and tools for repair and maintenance tasks. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience (3-5 years) as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical). Technical degree or vocational certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming. Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication. Familiarity with CMMS/EAM software for work order management. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
